Model 3 - Protective film (PPF) for the sills and bottoms of the doors.
This film set, protects the vulnerable sills and the bottoms of the doors invisibly against stone chips.
This fully transparent, self-healing and pre-cut film is from the XPEL brand; the market leader in the field of paint protection.
The set consists of 3 pieces of custom-cut film per side for the sill and the bottom of both doors. If you order the set to install yourself, you will receive a bottle of special application gel (dilute with water yourself) and a squeegee to rub the film on.

To apply the film, you must first clean the car thoroughly. Any stone chips can best be touched up first with our paint pens. Of course, this will no longer work once the film has been applied.
- The bottle is already filled with a slip solution to apply the film wet. This must be filled with water. Fill this halfway, so you have the right ratio
- Spray the liquid on the spot where the film is to be applied and also on your hands (With wet hands you are less likely to get fingerprints if you touch the film on the back.
- Remove the film from the back and apply the slip solution to the back of the film as well.
- Apply the film to the wet protier, but do not press it.
- Align the film on the doors with the bottom and back. It is best to ensure that the film remains a few millimetres inside the edge of the door.
- When the film is in place, use the squeegee to rub away the liquid and air bubbles from the centre.
- Let the film dry and do not use a high-pressure cleaner or car wash for the first period.
