Electric Powerlift for the trunk of  Model 3 with soft close mechanism

This powerlift makes the use of the trunk of your Model 3 a lot easier, and you car is way more luxurious.

You can open the trunk with a click of the standard button on the trunk, via the app, your touchscreen, the optional Tesla key fob, or the optional touchless kick sensor.

Closing is as easy. This can be done via the new lighted button on the lower part of the trunk liner, the app, the optional Tesla key fob, or the optional touchless kick sensor. It is also possible to have an extra close button installed near the driver, however most people want to keep their dashboard clean.

The set comes with a soft close mechanism. This means that the catching hook of the trunk will be replaced with an electric one, which can move up and down. When the trunk is almost closed, this hook catches the trunk, and pulls it to the fully closed position. So it will not close with a loud bang.

Therefore, you will no longer have dirty fingers all over the trunk, there will be no more damage on the lower part of the trunk and the bumper, because of the slam closure, and the sound of closing and opening is not so “cheap” anymore.

Also the maximum opening height is adjustable, in case you have a low ceiling in your garage.

The set comes with the motorized struts, the control unit, a beeper, the pushbuttons and all wiring needed for the installation. The instructions and a drill bit for the pushbutton is also included.

Every modification on the car are invisible reversible, except for the trunk liner, where a hole will be drilled for the closing pushbutton.
